The Sunday before Easter, we commemorate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.
John 12:13 "Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord."
Our Easter Service is a celebration of life, the victory over death, and the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
Matthew 28:5-6 "And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
The second-to-last Sunday of August, we pray for the upcoming school year. At the end of the service, we also prepare high school and primary school students with some school supplies.
2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
The Sunday before Garifuna Settlement Day, our church embraces the diverse cultures of Belize. We also celebrate God's command to the church to "preach the gospel" around the world. We dress in cultural wear to recognize the beauty of God's design.
Romans 10:12 "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.”
The night of Christmas Eve, the church gathers for a prayer meeting and night of singing. We reflect on the year and praise God for all the blessings he has provided us with. At the end, we fellowship with sweet treats and a cup of hot chocolate.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
This event takes place the Sunday before Christmas. Our church family does a Christmas performance to tell the story of the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Luke 2:10-11 "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”
Our movie selection focuses on God's grace and power, followed by a time of fellowship.
